Back in action

I have not had a chance to update our blog since our trip to Namibia... But I will do it today.
Owen is now ON THE GO... constantly, which requires lots of activity, so we spend a lot less time indoors and more time at the childrens museum, parks and the pool so that leaves me with less time on the computer... here are a few photos from the waterpark at Discovery Green and our park visit this morning.

Here comes the ring bearer!

Only a year old and he has already walked down 'the aisle'.... This weekend Jeremy, Owen and I flew to Beaver Creek, Colorado for my friend's, Dave Siever and Becca Clark's wedding. I went to Trinity with both the bride and groom and I couldnt be happier for these two! Owen was the ring bearer and he was adorable and did a wonderful job! Since Owen isnt walking just yet, Becca had her nephews pull him in a red wagon, it was pretty adorable!

I cant wait to get the pictures from her wedding photographer because I had my hands so full getting him ready, in the wagon and down the isle on time, that I didn't get a chance to take many photos! But here are a couple before the ceremony and after!

Becca was the most beautiful bride and I feel so blessed that she allowed my family to be a part of her wedding- thank you Becca! xoxo

I still can't believe Owen is a year old... he gets more adorable each day that goes by.

Here is the signature Jeremy pose... isn't it funny how genetics work? Jeremy sits exactly like this all the time... and so does Owen.

Turning into a fish!

I have to admit... I feel as though I am bragging when I post pictures like the one below... I mean, I seriously have the most amazing days with this little guy. Not every day is perfect, but who is and I am so thankful I have had to opportunity to enjoy this time with Owen... I am having so much fun with this little guy. We have spent some quality time in the pool over last week, since our pool warmed up and he is turning into a little fish. He has started kicking around in his floaty and he is getting used to the water and loves it!

I think this is the most precious smile! This is one happy toddler!

Growing and growing... UP!

We had Owen's 1 year check up today and everything was great. He has been a little congested so I was concerned about an ear infection, but it looks like we made it an entire year with no ear infections! Owen is 95th% in height, and 80th in weight and head size. We might have a potential basketball player on our hands...?

Watermelon snack time in the pool!

Summertime is in full swing and I am trying to get Owen in the pool as much as possible! Today we ate watermelon while hanging out in the pool... it was a great pool day today!
