Goodbye 2010... hello 2011

2010 was a wonderful, eventful, fulfilling, exciting and rewarding year filled with many "firsts". We welcomed our first son, Owen, and have been enjoying every moment with him.
2011 holds many exciting adventures and trips for us as a family... I can't wait!

Christmas 2009

A year ago...

Its always funny for me to think about where and what I was doing when I was pregnant with Owen... and a year ago, when I was pregnant with Owen we went to London- and here is also a shot from Christmas last year where you can kind of see little Owen in my belly... My belly was such a late bloomer, who knew that he was going to be 8lbs 11oz at birth and 85th percentile in size. It is really amazing that Owen was born 7 months ago... the idea that between last Christmas and this Christmas, it was barely evident that I was pregnant, and then it was VERY evident I was pregnant :), I had a baby and now that baby is 7 months old! What is so crazy and kind of scary at the same time is how fast life can change ....
(and it amazes me how much your body changes forms as well!:))

7 months and our first tooth!

Owen is 7 months old today and last night dad found a little white tooth coming in on the bottom... we finally have a tooth!
Here are a few pictures I took of Owen today with my new camera lens... obviously still trying to figure out how to use it with lighting etc- its huge... I really need a stand for this lens- hard to take pictures by hand!

Owen still has blue/green eyes- they look dark blue when he wears certain colors and other times they look green...
He is crawling and getting around as well as starting to pull up on our couch- he hasnt quite done it yet but he is trying to...

We are heading to my dads next week so I will post pics from our trip to the ranch when we get back!
Happy New Year... 2011 is going to have to be a pretty good one to beat 2010 for me :)
