4th of July- Dog Trot Farm!

This weekend we went to Dog Trot Farm to celebrate the 4th of July. The past 2 years we have gone to the farm for the 4th and we have always entered a float in the Roundtop 4th of July parade. Last year our theme was Gilligan's Island... and the year before we had a float called "Cowlection"- where we were dressed as cows holding signs for 'Obamooo' and 'Moocain'. We had great hopes of entering one in the parade this year but with everything going on, it was too much work and not enough time. We will enter the parade next year for sure- Owen is going to love it!
We continued to celebrate Jeremy's birthday over the weekend- we surpsed him with a special screening on the barn of The Burbs, one of Jeremy's favorite movies. Molly and Boysh made homemade pizzas and Onion and Ann made some homemade vanilla ice cream- it was delicious!!!
Molly and I were talking about how its going to be great when we can throw a big blanket down on the ground so that the kids can watch movies out on the barn!

One of Jeremy's birthday presents from me was a Trap shooter. So, on Sunday we set up the trap shooter and took out some guns. And yes, I was able to hit one!

Here are some photos from the weekend:

Handsome cousin Henry! Isn't he precious?! Owen cant wait for Henry to move down to Houston in a year so that they can tear things up together!
